How do I book?

You can book immediately via our website from the bookings page, by telephone, or by email (see our contact us page).

Can you provide someone to monitor the equipment I have hired?

Yes, we can provide staff members to monitor hired equipment as long as someone is available. This is charged at an additional cost of £40 per hour, per staff member required. Please note that some hire occasions require more than one staff member per inflatable (public events, etc). Just let us know in advance what your needs are.

How much notice should I give?

No notice is required however it is advisable to book as early as possible as we do get booked up (especially during summer time). If you need a bouncy castle fast give us a call - you might be in luck!

How much does it cost?

Our prices are flexible depending on the castle required and location. Please give us a call for a quotation - we will aim to beat any other genuine quote that you have received. We’re good like that.

Is there an age limit for using the bouncy castles?

Yes, most of our castles are only suitable for children aged 14 and under. However, we do have a range of adult bouncy castles that are suitable for all ages. But don’t forget that adult castles will incur a fully refundable damage deposit.

Does the equipment create much noise?

All inflatable equipment requires constant airflow from an inflation fan - this does create some noise however we do use the latest high end fans on the market to keep noise to a minimum. You might want to check with your venue to make sure the noise isn’t going to be an issue. Oh and bear in mind that using a generator will be more noisy than electricity run inflatables.

What's included in the price?

The price includes everything you require for a bouncy castle hire; delivery and setup of your chosen castle, drop off and pick up at your desired time, safety matting for getting on and off the castle, blower, ground pegs and public liability insurance.

Please note that the standard hire price does NOT include a member of staff to monitor equipment you have hired. This is available but at an additional charge of £50 per hour, per staff member required.

How much public liability cover do you have?

We have £5 million coverage and are licensed to trade at both private and public events (including licensed premises).

When are your castles available?

You can have a bouncy castle from us at any time, seven days a week. Just contact us to find out about availability or check online.

Can I keep the castle over night?

Yes, however this will be charged as a two day hire. A 25% discount will be given on the second day.

If I hire a bouncy castle for just one day when is the latest you can pick it up?

All hire's are restricted to a maximum of 6 hours with the latest collection time as 7pm unless specified on the individual product page.

What if it rains?

Unfortunately due to safety reasons our inflatable hire items cannot be used in wet and rainy conditions. We will always deliver however do ask that equipment is only used if completely dry (including the front step and safety matting).

Are their any height restrictions?

Yes, however these vary depending on what castle you require. Please contact us for more information.

Can mixed age groups use the bouncy castle?

No, unfortunately different age groups cannot use our bouncy castles at the same time as this would void out public liability insurance. Plus it is unsafe for adults and children to bounce at the same time due to weight differences.

Do I need to provide anything?

Sometimes, to form part of the hire agreement you may need to show us one form of photo ID which states your address (for example a driving license).

Are there any terms & conditions for #WinsdayWednesday competitions?

Yes, please see as follows:

  • All prizes exclude any applicable delivery charges
  • Our maximum delivery radius is 15 miles from Basingstoke
  • Family members and friends of any JV Hire Services Ltd employees are not permitted to enter
  • Any unclaimed prize codes will be invalidated after a period of 12 months from date of issue
  • If there are multiple correct entries a winner will be drawn at random
  • Entries close at 12:00 on the Thursday (if a #WinsdayWednesday competition is run on the Wednesday).

Can I book more than one date if I am not sure what date I will need to hire on yet?

Unfortunately not. We are unable to book multiple dates for the same hire item if you have not decided on the date of your event yet (to account for weather, venue availability, etc). This is so we can maintain availability of hire stock for other customers who may wish to book the same hire item. See our cancellation policy regarding bad weather and early cancellation.
